  • A Guide to Parking Lots and Fees in Makati City
  • Parking in the city can be extremely frustrating, especially when you’re rushing to get to work in Makati City. This is precisely why there’s no shortage of parking lots and parking garages within the Central Business District.

Roadside parking is available, but those aren’t ideal for people who work all day in their offices. The three-hour time limit isn’t ideal, even if it’s just in front of your office.

Malls also provide ample parking space for workers in Makati, though they are farther away depending on where you work. You don’t want to park at Park Square and have to go to your office at RCBC Plaza now, do you?

Luckily, there are several car parks and parking lots that can cater to most of Makati’s workers. Here’s a shortlist of car parks in Makati that’s open for everyone:

Dela Rosa Car Park 1 and 2

The Dela Rosa Carpark is located along Dela Rosa Street just off of Ayala Avenue. Both carparks are mostly utilized by those who have their offices in and around Legazpi Village. Payments can be made with cash or using the Beep card that could be loaded in various stations along the parking area.

Business hours:  6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Closed on Sundays and holidays.
Regular Vehicles: Php 50 for the first 2 hrs with additional Php 20 per succeeding hour.
Motorcycles: (Only at Dela Rosa 2) Php 50 for the first 12 hrs with additional Php per succeeding hour.
Lost/ Damaged Card: Php 500 + Parking fee

    Valero Car Park

This open space one is for those who work on the farther of Legazpi Village. It’s along Valero St., right at the corner of Valero and H.V. Dela Costa. There is also the multi-level parking along Valero for the same rate as the Dela Rosa Carpark.

    Business hours:  6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday
Regular Vehicles: Php 60 for the first 2 hrs with additional Php 20 per succeeding hour.
Motorcycles: Flat rate of Php 50
Lost/ Damaged Card: Php 300 + Parking fee

    Gabriela Silang Car Park

The Gabriela Silang Car Park is easy enough to find. It’s close to the Gabriela Silang monument at the corner of Ayala and Makati Ave., so it’s a no-brainer for those working along Makati Ave. or at either the Makati Stock Exchange or the Philippine Stock Exchange.

    Business hours:  7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
Regular Vehicles: Php 50 for the first 2 hrs with additional Php 25 per succeeding hour.
Motorcycles: Flat rate of Php 50 on Mon to Fri; Php 45 on Sat, Sun, and holidays

    Plaza 100

Here’s a parking lot that’s not as known as the first three. Plaza 100, located at the corner of V.A. Rufino and Dela Rosa Streets, is another one of those parking lots that good for people who work around the southern side of Legazpi Village.

Business hours:  6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mon to Fri; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Closed on Sundays and holidays.

    Paseo Center Car Park

The Paseo Center Car Park is another one of those parking spaces that are located to the “north” of Legazpi Village. It’s a stone’s throw away from Ayala Triangle Gardens, which makes it ideal for anyone who exercises there and brings a car or if you’ve just run out of space at Gabriela Silang.

Regular Vehicles: Php 40 for the first 2 hrs with additional Php 40 per succeeding hour.
Motorcycles: Php 40 for the first 2 hrs with additional Php 20 per succeeding hour.

    Salcedo Car Park

We’re reaching way, WAY north for this one, at least as far as walking from your car to the office is concerned. The Salcedo Car Park, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, is one of the more popular car parks in Makati because of the Sunday Market held every week.

If you’re parking here after 10 p.m., you’ll have to pay your parking fees at the MACEA office located beside the parking entrance.
