  • JAPAN TRAVEL: Hotel Nikko in Kumamoto City
  •  Hotel Nikko Kumamoto is a world-class accommodation that speaks modern luxury.

The hotel brand is owned by international hotel chain Nikko Hotels International, known for its business and leisure accommodations across Japan. The hotel sits perfectly in the middle of the bustling city, a perfect location as a starting point for every tourist spot within Kumamoto.

The hotel features eight room types to cater to every type of tourists. Some guests prefer Western-style accommodations, but those who would like to try a unique accommodation must see their Japanese-style room that showcases a traditional Japanese accommodation through its tatami flooring and Japanese elements.

The rooms are well-designed, comfortable, and clean. Their twin rooms face Kumamoto Castle while their standard rooms give a view of the Kumamoto business district.

For breakfast, enjoy local Kumamoto delicacies and produce. We recommend guests to try the “Aso” Milk. It is milk known for its taste and quality.

You’ll never run out of dining options in the hotel too, as it offers six in-house restaurants. They have Hey Benkay for Japanese dining, Asoshed for buffet, Tao-li for Chinese, Les Celebrites for French, Fountain for tea and cocktail lounge, and La Patisserie for the cake shop. Hotel Nikko also offers event spaces of various sizes and it’s also the place where the largest banquet room in the city is located, making it the ideal space for conferences and large-scale events.
