San Juan Surf Resort in La Union
One of the most famous hotels and resorts in San Juan, La Union is the San Juan Surf Resort. It was established in 1992 by Australian surfer Brian Landrigan with just three rooms. They’ve since added 35 rooms and moved it to the heart of the city, turning it into a popular destination.
At present, San Juan Surf Resort is Northern Luzon’s go-to place for surfers, families, and travelers, with amenities including a restaurant, bar, spa, surf school, and surf shop.

The resort has two seasons that follow La Union’s: July to October’s South Swell and November to March’s North Swell. Surfers from around the world visit them all the time to unwind and have fun.
San Juan Surf Resort also houses San Juan Surf School, established in 2003 by Filipino-Australian surfer Luke Landrigan. The school is the #1 surf school in the Philippines and is affectionately known to all as Surf Camp.

As a professional surf instructor, Luke received his training in Australia. The in-house restaurant is Coast Call Kitchen which serves a mix of local and international dishes. Colorful murals are seen to brighten up the mood of the restaurant. They are located in San Juan, north of San Fernando City, La Union, along McArthur Highway.
