Located at Centuria Medical Makati, COCONA 101 is a Japanese acupuncture and wellness clinic led by Dr. Cocoro Nakahara, a Japanese practitioner with extensive experience in acupuncture, rehabilitation, and therapeutic care.
Dr. Nakahara’s journey in acupuncture began at the age of 10 under the guidance of his father, who served as Chairman of the Japan Acupuncture and Moxibustion Association and helped make acupuncture treatments eligible for insurance coverage in Japan.

Building on this early training, Dr. Nakahara pursued several professional qualifications in Japan, including licenses as a Radiological Technologist, Acupuncturist and Moxibustion Therapist, Anma-Massage-Shiatsu Therapist, and Specialist in Judo Orthopedic Rehabilitation.
His professional background includes 10 years at a general hospital in Tokyo and another 11 years at an orthopedic clinic in Saitama Prefecture. In 2012, he established Cocona Acupuncture Orthopedic Clinic in Japan before bringing his expertise to the Philippines as a part-time practitioner at TECERMA SPA and CLINICA MANILA in 2015.

In 2018, he established COCORONAKAHARA101 CORP. and opened COCONA MAKATI. Although he returned to Japan during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he resumed providing treatments in the Philippines through home services in May 2022.
