The excitement of motorsports takes center stage as the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Esports GT Championship 2026 National Finals heads to Function Room 1, 2nd Floor, SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on September 27, 2026!

Open to the public with free admission, the event will bring together 20 of the country’s top sim racers for a thrilling competition, alongside interactive racing activities, exciting vehicle displays, and exclusive GR merchandise for motorsports enthusiasts.
Organized by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the championship is one of the country’s premier sim racing tournaments, providing aspiring racers with an opportunity to develop their skills, gain competitive experience, and pursue their passion for motorsports through the popular racing simulation game Gran Turismo.
Since its launch in 2020, the tournament, formerly known as the GR GT Cup, has served as a platform for Filipino sim racers to compete on the national stage, with opportunities to represent the Philippines in international competitions.
Beyond virtual racing, the championship also aims to bridge the gap between esports and real-world motorsports by providing a pathway for competition winners to transition to TMP’s premier racing series, the TGR Philippine Cup, formerly known as the Vios Cup.
20 Sim Racers Compete for National Championship Titles
This year’s championship attracted more than 400 participants from across the Philippines, a significant increase from the 250 participants recorded during the previous season’s qualifiers.
During the qualifying rounds, competitors were challenged to record their fastest lap times around the Laguna Seca racetrack using a stock Toyota GR 86 in Gran Turismo.
Following the qualifiers, the top 10 competitors from the Sporting Class and the top 10 from the Junior Class secured their places in the National Finals, where they will compete for championship titles, cash prizes, and the opportunity to represent the country on the international stage.
The champion of each class will receive PHP 100,000 and a guaranteed slot in the Asia Finals as part of Team Philippines, where they will compete against other sim racers from across the region.
Meanwhile, the runner-up from each class will receive PHP 75,000 and a chance to secure the third and final slot in Team Philippines. The remaining slot will be awarded to the runner-up who accumulates the higher number of points at the conclusion of the National Finals.
Through the championship, TMP continues to support the growing esports community while encouraging more Filipinos, particularly young racing enthusiasts, to explore motorsports.
