The celebration, titled MITSUKOSHI BGC Tanabata Festival, invites guests to experience one of Japan’s beloved summer traditions. Tanabata, also known as the Star Festival, is often celebrated by writing wishes on colorful paper strips and hanging them on bamboo decorations.

Among the event’s highlight is the Yukata Dressing Experience, which lets guests step into the beauty of Japanese summer by wearing a traditional yukata, complete with basic hairstyling and light makeup. The activity will be held every Saturday from July 18 to August 15, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Participants must present a minimum Php 2,500 single or accumulated purchase from any MITSUKOSHI BGC store, with receipts dated between June 26 and August 15, 2026. The experience is open to women aged 18 and above, and pre-booking is required through the QR code registration form.
