  • David Harrower’s Blackbird showing in RCBC Makati
  • This play revolves around two main characters: Una, a 27-year old woman, and Ray, a 55-year old man, both of whom are not comfortable around each other’s company, and we soon find out why: Back when Una was only twelve years old, Ray seduced her for statutory rape.

After the incident, Ray spent a part of his life in prison; and Una was excluded from her community. Though sexual abuse occurred, this play also highlights a part of a horrible love story for after some time, these two individuals started to have deeper feelings for each other.
