    From February 20 to March 15, 2024, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), in its commitment to promoting the versatility of Japanese ingredients to the Philippines, brings a taste of Japan to the Philippines through “A Seafood Festival”, featuring sumptuous Chirashi Bowls!

    Chirashi Bowls, known as “chirashizushi” in Japanese, is a dish that features a base of sushi rice topped with an assortment of raw fish slices and may sometimes include vegetables, roe, and various garnishes.

    Make your own Chirashi Bowl at MITSUKOSHI BGC following these three (3) simple steps!

    STEP 1: Choose Your Donburi

    Donburi is a Japanese rice bowl, typically mixed with other ingredients such as vegetables and seafood. This will serve as the base of your Chirashi Bowl. You may select from five (5) kinds of donburi including:

    • Salmon Buri Don (salmon & Japanese yellowtailed fish)
    • Hokkai Don
    • Salmon Hotate Don (salmon & scallops)
    • Chirashi Don
    • Kaisen Don (seafood)

    STEP 2: Choose Your Toppings

    Make your Chirashi Bowl extra flavorful by choosing up to three free toppings from their selection, including:

    • Miyabi Dai (sea bream)
    • Buri Fillet (Japanese amberjack)
    • Salmon
    • Hotate (scallops)
    • Amaebi (sweet shrimp)
    • Aka Ebi (Argentine red shrimp)
    • Ikura (red caviar)
    • Unagi (eel)
    • Hanasaki Shigure (Japanese crab sticks)
    • Tako Wasabi (marinated octopus)

    STEP 3: Enjoy Your Chirashi Bowl!

    But, there is actually more to this seafood celebration than Chirashi Bowls! Joining in this seafood festival are Prologue d’Fined, Bijin Nabe, and Sen Ryo with their very own special promos.

    Prologue d’Fined treats their first 50 customers daily with a FREE Japanese drink (sake, wine, or soft drink) with every order of any of their Japanese Seafood Specials. This includes the Hokkaido Octopus (Php 580), Oysters Ahijo (Php 995), and Hokkaido Scallop Risotto (Php 1,500).

    The first 25 customers of Bijin Nabe, on the other hand, will get two (2) FREE Japanese beverages with every purchase of any Special Seafood Combo Sets, good for two! Among these are Scallops Combo (Php 1,790), featuring sushi-grade scallops, and Hamachi Combo (Php 1,790), consisting of sushi-grade Japanese amberjack or yellowtail.

    Both promos from Prologue d’Fined and Bijin Nabe can be availed from February 23 to March 15, 2024, every Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only.

    Sen Ryo, a premium sushi restaurant from Japan, also treats its dine-in customers to a complimentary Japanese beverage for every purchase of their participating seafood specials from February 23 to March 15, 2024.
