  • Join the 1st Okinawa Food Festival at the Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati on Nov. 14
  • The Philippine United Okinawa Association, Inc. (PUOA) announced the first-ever Okinawa Food Festival this coming November 14 at the Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati.

    The festival aims to promote Okinawa, Japan through food and fresh products.

    Aside from the Food Festival, the event will also hold the 1st Ryuku Awamori Contest at the same time.

    THINGS TO DISCOVER IN OKINOWA 

    There will be a program that many guests can enjoy. Participants can have a taste of Okinawa through food tasting with specialty dishes such as Okinawa soba noodles and Rahutee (braised pork belly in soy sauce with awamori) and many more. Aside from that, a video presentation will be presented to showcase unique places to visit in Okinawa, Japan.

    Meanwhile, at the Ryukyu Awamori Competition, visitors will be able to taste and compare different types of Awamori and learn how to drink in a traditional way.

    The event will be held at the Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati this coming November 14. The event is sponsored by Philippine United Okinawa Association, Inc. and Co-sponsored by Okinawa Prefectural Industrial Promotion Corporation and Okinawa Bussan Kosha Washita Shop, Co. Ltd.

    Other participants of the event are Ironman Steakhouse, Araya Ramen Food Corporation, Seiji Kamura, Owner Chef of MOGU Restaurant, and HONOBONO Corporation.

    Okinawa with love. A Japanese food feast and celebration bringing you closer to Japan

    To all food and travel lovers, this is your chance to have a glimpse of Okinawa and its rich culture. Participants will have a chance to get cool items such as souvenirs that are directly from Okinawa, Japan.

    Tickets will be available soon by the of October, so stay tuned for further announcements.
