Mind Museum’s Astro Camp: Love and the Cosmos Happens This February
It is going to be a starry, starry night with lots of love with the cosmos as Mind Museum’s Astro Camp returns this February 15 at Pinto Art Museum, Antipolo, Rizal.
Astro Camp was designed as an overnight stargazing camp for all ages created and handled by The Mind Museum in partnership with the Pinto Art Museum. Expect a magical night under the gallery of stars, the beauty of arts, and the magnificence of the cosmos!
Learn how the stars have inspired humanity’s search for both beauty and cosmic order through hands-on and family-friendly activities.
Campers will also get a chance to have a closer look at the Moon, Venus, the Orion Nebula, and some other extraordinary and amazing objects in the sky through a telescope.
Together with the fun learning experience, Astro Camp participants will receive the following:
- Access to Pinto Art Museum on February 15, 2020 (Saturday) 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. only
- Packed dinner and light snacks
- Unlimited coffee
- Astronomy workshop and activities
- Astronomy and art souvenirs
- Use of telescopes (shared by all participants)
- Overnight parking at the venue (limited slots with first come, first served basis)
Since this is an overnight event, the organizers recommend the campers to bring tents, sleeping bags, toiletries, a change of clothes and other things to make their stay comfortable. They are also required to check-in by February 15, at 1 p.m. and check-out the next day, February 16, at 6 a.m.
