ProPak 2020 is Happening This February 5 to 7 at World Trade Center
The biggest packaging and processing trade event in the country, ProPak Philippines is set to return this February 5 to 7, 2020, at the World Trade Center.
The three-day event will showcase the latest in manufacturing, packaging, and processing as well as seminars on food safety.
Admission is free and open to trade and business visitors. Visitors must pre-register online through the official website. For their safety and security, minors will not be permitted.
Further, all visitors must be in proper attire and avoid wearing shorts, sandals, and sando.
The seminar schedules are as follows:
- February 6, 1 to 2 p.m. – Food Safety and Overview of Environmental Monitoring Program
- February 7, 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Food-Packaging Interactions Influencing Quality and Safety
- February 7, 1 to 2 p.m. – Food Allergen Management in the Food Industry
ProPak Philippines will also host various workshops in manufacturing and packaging led by government agencies and manufacturing and business associations.
Some of these companies will be Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Science and Technology (DOST) with its Packaging Technology Division (PTD), Production Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), Philippine Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA), and Active and Intelligent Packaging Industry Association (AIPI).
ProPak Philippines 2019 drew more than 300 exhibitors from 30 countries and more than 9,000 attendees who were presented with the latest in packaging technologies, supply chain management, and other processing operations for food processing, pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, agro-industries, cosmetics, and many more.
This year’s trade show will also incorporate PlasPak Philippines, which is set to showcase the plastic packaging industry and connect international suppliers to Philippines buyers and specifiers.
ProPak Philippines 2020 is supported by the DTI, the DOST, the Packaging Institute of the Philippines (PIP), PAFT, Inc., the Dairy Confederation of the Philippines (DairyCon), the PPMA, PROMAP, the Philippine Printing Technical Foundation (PPTF) and Association of Laguna Food Processors Inc. (ALAFOP).
