Eat and Run at the 9th AmCham Foundation ScholaRUN in March 2020
The American Chamber Foundation Philippines, Inc. (ACFPI) will hold the 9th edition of ScholaRUN, an annual “Eat and Run” Welfare Campaign for the AmCham Foundation Scholars on March 1, 2020 at the SM By the Bay in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
A first of its kind in the Philippines, ScholaRUN 2020 is a fun run event wherein participating runners will get to taste several American favorites like burgers, pizza, and doughnuts upon reaching a certain pit stop.
The ACFPI continues to support the youth in terms of education by creating a unique fun run that will help them achieve the program’s objectives for the youth. The event is for the benefit of AmCham Foundation Scholars.
Over 4,000 participants with 38 sponsors, 9 food sponsors, and 76 companies participated in last year’s ScholaRUN wherein ACFPI was able to give educational assistance to 22 students in their foundation.
Now in its ninth year, ACFPI is aiming to gather at least 10,000 runners and supporters especially after finally including a 21K run in the race.
There are a total of five categories in the racecourse: 200M Dash, 3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K. In each race category, runners will be given a race shirt, race bib medal, race belt, and a finisher shirt for the 21K category. To join, register at www.goorahna.com.
