  • The Academic Booksellers Association of the Philippines brings back the Philippine Academic Book Fair, the sole book fair in the country that focuses on the education department.

    Academicians, school administrators, librarians, tutors, students, and book enthusiasts are all invited to attend the event on July 24 to 26, 2019 at the Megatrade Hall 1 of SM Megamall.

    Currently, 27 publishing companies and distributors will be participating in the event.  Audiovisual learning materials and electronic references will also be sold at the most affordable prices. Through these, attendees will be familiarized with different educational reforms and technological innovations in the field.

    22nd Philippine Academic Book Fair

    The annual academic book fair also holds seminars and this year, it would revolve around the subject of libraries. 

    The first seminar on July 24 is entitled Building 21st Century Collections: Approaches and Practices and will be hosted by the Philippine Association of Academic and Research Libraries (PAARL). 

    The second seminar, on the other hand, focuses on providing financial literacy to libraries and will be hosted by the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI).

    Participants in the seminar are expected to gain a better understanding of the new trends in acquiring and managing 21st-century library collections.

    The 23rd Philippine Academic Boof Fair is co-presented by Primer Trade Asia, Inc.
