  • The 2018 Korean Film Festival is kicking off in Manila this September, and you wouldn’t want to miss the blockbuster lineup of films that will surely spark your interest in Korean history.

    Mark your dates as the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines brings us Korea’s rich history through a series of blockbuster movies taking place in Manila, Baguio, Davao, Iloilo, and Cebu for the whole month of September!

    The film festival which started in 2011, will officially be opened this year with an advance screening of “The Pirates” at SM Megamall on August 29, 2018. Lee Seok-hoon, the director of the film, will be gracing the advance screening with a Special Director’s Talk.

    Films included in the Korean Film Festival are as follows:

    • Assassination

    The Korean Film Festival will be bringing the films to the cities of:

    • Baguio – September 8 to 9, 2018
    • Davao – September 15 to 16, 2018
    • Iloilo – September 22 to 23, 2018
    • Cebu – September 29 to 30, 2018

    The films will be available for viewing in selected SM Cinemas (SM Megamall, SM Baguio, SM Lanang Premiere, SM Iloilo, and SM Cebu) for FREE! All films are with English subtitles so no need to worry!
