Cosplay Mania 2018: 10 Years of Celebrating J-Pop Culture
Cosplay is the art of costuming and acting like a specific character. In the Philippines, there is only one premiere cosplay-centric event: Cosplay Mania, and this September 29 to 30, 2018, will be their 10th year! Come to SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City soon to experience the best in Philippine cosplay!

From its humble beginnings, Cosplay Mania has grown to become the most anticipated cosplay event in the Philippines. The event is organized by Cosplay.ph who holds other conventions and contests throughout the year, culminating with this annual celebration of hobbies and Japanese subculture.
For their tenth year, Cosplay Mania 2018 is rolling out big guests, the best cosplays, and the grandest prizes. They have cosplay contests, stage skits, karaoke, and even an auction of toys, costumes, and official merchandise!

For their guests, expect J-Pop artists AiRI, Megumi Nakajima, and bands fhána and Zwei. There are also stage actors Hiroki Ino and Kousuke Asuma and anime voice actors Chiharu Sawashiro and Shunsuke Takeuchi!
Being an integral event in the local cosplay scene, cosplaying is highly encouraged and accepted. Internationally renowned cosplayers will be in attendance as guests and judges: Astarohime and Emperor Cosplay from Russia, Malaysia’s Hakken, and Ola Aphrodite of Indonesia.

Tickets are available online via SM Tickets for Php 2,499 for VIP, Php 849 for Gold, and Php 449 for Silver for their 1-day pass. Silver and Gold ticket holders will be able to watch the JAM Concert by the J-Pop guest artists.
