Asia Pop Comicon Manila 2018 at SMX this July

Pop culture enthusiasts and collectors rejoice at the many annual events where they get to meet icons and artists. Many look forward to this year’s Asia Pop Comicon (APCC) Manila, the biggest and most-awaited pop culture convention in the region that promises a whole new level of geek experience. APCC Manila 2018 is on July 27-29 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
APCC is known to bring in big guests, exclusive previews, talent, and content to offer a memorable experience filled with surprises that put Manila on a global pop-culture map. This year, APCC welcomes Finn Jones and Jessica Henwick of the Marvel TV series Iron Fist!
As for the geeks, many would be excited to see comic book artists Alex Sinclair, Lan Medina, Mike McKone, and Phil Noto. Pop culture has also brought in sculptor and veteran artist for Star Wars, Brian Ian Muir, to the Philippines this July. Returning guests include Whilce Portacio and Simone Legno.
Costume designers Canvas Cosplay and Leon Chiro will be attending and also judge the Cosplay Authority Global Challenge (CAGE). The competition is the biggest cosplay competition in the region with cash and other prizes worth US$ 18,000.
We expect more APCC announcements as the event date grows near that will definitely pump up SMX Convention Center. Tickets are on sale online through smtickets.com and SM ticket outlets for Php 1,150 for three days, Php 950 for two days, and Php 650 for one day pass. Tickets include access to stage activities, performances, and the main exhibition floor. APCC welcomes children aged five years and below for free.
