After releasing their latest track and lyric video entitled “girlfriend,” The Bilinda Butchers will head for their Asia Tour 2018. Continuously producing reverbs, retro synths and fuzzy texture of their music to vocals, one will totally love this San Francisco-based band as they perform for the first time in Manila. Fronting the band will be local independent acts Hazylazy and Moon Mask.
Showcasing a dream pop genre which is rare for Filipinos’ context of music, admirers of independent underground music can now gather for this one-time alternative rock performance. Only this time, they have evolved upon hearing guitar pop and adding a touch of modern percussive sounds.
The Bilinda Butchers [the bbs] is led by Michal Kepsky accompanied by Lukas Untersteiner and Adam Honingford. The band’s name came from Bilinda Butcher, the guitarist-vocalist of My Bloody Valentine who inspired them and their music.
