  • ArtistSpace presents Exeunt II: A solo exhibition of Eros Basilio
  • Mark your calendars on February 23, 2018, as ArtistSpace presents EXEUNT II, the 4th solo exhibition of the late visual artist Eros Basilio. Eros was preparing for this exhibition when he passed away in January 2017. He was only 60. A memorial exhibition entitled, “Eros Exeunt” was held for him by his friends from the advertising industry last July 2017 at the Nova Gallery in Makati City.

The word “exeunt” refers to a stage direction in a play to specify that all or certain names characters leave the stage. As Eros Basilio exits this stage play which we call “life”, he takes with him all the characters and muses he created. This exhibition gives us a chance to once again appreciate the images he painted in his signature technique thanks to his daughter Camille. She finally makes her father’s dream of having another solo exhibition happen. She will continue to showcase the works of her late father to be appreciated, remembered, and to inspire others.

For more information, please call or e-mail Camille Basilio 02-942-4394 or 0908-8850492. You can also send an email to kmlbasilio@gmail.com, call Jane Salvador at 02-759-8288, or email artistspace@ayalamuseum.org for tickets.
