Busy bees will certainly not get left behind as the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is open 24 hours!
Two million books. Anyone who goes inside World Trade Center will not go empty-handed. Whatever type of reader you are, you can find a wide range of books, from all kinds of fiction, non-fiction and self-help to cookbooks, children’s books, and more!
Insider tips: Bring your biggest and most durable bag (or bags) if you’re planning to grab A LOT. Do not hold back because if you ever find your cart full, you can simply leave it at the Customer Storage area and grab another cart! No worries about not running out of cash because there are teller machines at the venue, and credit and debit cards are also accepted for payment.
Big Bad Wolf Book Sale originated in Malaysia, where it first started in 2009 as a warehouse sale. Since then, Big Bad Wolf Book Sale has reached Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and, now, the Philippines.
Majority of the books come from BookXcess, a bookstore that deals in remaindered books from international distributors, whose founders Andrew Yap and Jacqueline Ng are also the people behind the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale.
Part of the proceeds of the sale will go to Gawad Kalinga.
