Everyone has a few more days to plan ahead and get your tickets. From coffee topiary to being serenaded Japanese style. This weekend is really something we should look forward to!

    The 6th Travel Madness Expo! ( July 7 – 9)

    The Travel Madness Expo is back and they’re bringing back the best travel deals in the metro this July 7 to 9, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay. 23 international airlines, travel agencies, top hotels and resorts, theme parks, cruise companies, and national tourism organizations will unite this weekend, in partnership with the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines.

    GameCon Philippines 2017 ( July 7 – 9)

    Be ready for all kinds of games at this year’s GameCon Philippines, happening at the Megatrade Hall 2 in SM Megamall from July 7 – 9!  This 3-day gaming convention will showcase the latest games and lets you meet different gamers. There will be gaming competitions, cosplay and fan art contests on Days 2 and 3, while Day 1 will be dedicated to workshops conducted by some of the most respected game developers in the Philippines.

    Facebook Ads Basics: Focus on Retail and Brick and Mortar Businesses (July 8)

    Globe My Business Academy and Manila Workshop is running the Facebook Ads Basics: Focus on Retail and Brick and Mortar Businesses on July 8 at the Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City. This event supported by Facebook and all attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion signed by Facebook and Manila Workshops. Facebook Ads expert, Nina Mendoza and Manila Workshops Facebook Trainer Kinney Palma will be the guest speakers.

    Japanese Serenade at Buddha-Bar in Makati (July 8)

    Buddha-Bar-Manila is bringing the best of contemporary Japanese cuisine as they hold Japanese Serenade, a night of exquisite Japanese cuisine and violin with Buddha-Bar’s Japanese Corporate Chef Shigeki Iimura, on July 8. Chef Shigeki Iimura will visit Manila this July 7 for a meet-and-greet. Japanese dishes will be prepared right before a live crowd while a violinist plays a beautiful ensemble.     Short + Sweet Film Festival (July 8)

    Short + Sweet Film Festival is now in Manila and they’re still accepting entries until June 20, 2017! Get a chance to work in front of an A-List Hollywood audience and win professional development from Stella Adler! This event is brought to you with the help of Australian Embassy of the Philippines. The winner will have his or her film funded by Ryde Studios in Los Angeles worth $50,000.

    Let’s Get Down To Business (July 8)

    Happening on July 8, 2017 at BSpot in Ortigas. Let’s get down to business is a half-day workshop which will discuss how to take the first step on turning your passion into profit. This workshop is for those people who want to step out on their 9-5 jobs, and have their full-time jobs doing what they want. The speaker is Francis Miranda. He started his career as a copywriter and ended it as a CEO and Vice President in multiple ad agencies based in Manila, Barcelona, and Kuala Lumpur, who handles brands like Jollibee, Chowking, Cebu Pacific, Coca-Cola, and more.
