Patakbo 2016: A Cause. A Sprint. In Support of Children
The Philippine Association of Central Services and Sterilization Management (PACSSM) will be holding a beneficiary Run, Walk, Dance and Zumba event for the first time. Scheduled on November 27 (Sunday) from 4:30 am to 10:00 am, Patakbo 2016 will be held at the University Oval and AS Parking Lot, UP Diliman in Quezon City.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to World Vision, an international child-focused organization. The remaining will be used for various PACSSM activities, most notably skills and training that aim to uphold the standards in instrument reprocessing, sterilization and infection control in healthcare settings. As much as 20 out of 100 hospitalized patients, including newborn, continue to be affected by healthcare acquired infections in low- and middle-income countries, the Philippines included.
