11th Sarangani Bay Festival
Parties at the beach need not happen in the middle of summer, especially if you’re way south of Metro Manila. Pack your bags, hop on a plane, and head for Gumasa Glan in Sarangani Province for the 11th Sarangani Bay Festival!

Unlike other festivals in the country, the annual Sarangani Bay Festival does not have any ties to anything religious or ancestral. It’s purely a beach party that was initially conceived to bring in more tourists and open up the doors of Sarangani.
Once a small event that was seen as a haven for backpackers, expats, and extended friends of public officials, it has now evolved into a full-scale summer beach party with multiple side events, all in a span of 2 days.
Like any beach party, #SarBayForever plays host to several sporting events like volleyball, swimming, and their ever-popular Sarangani Triathlon. The Bay Bodies bikini open competition as well as concerts and parties along the stretch of Gumasa Glan all add to the revelry that is SarBay.
