Most festivals in the Philippines have one thing in common: it is usually a way of giving thanks to a patron saint. For the people of Passi City, Iloilo, their festival is a bit different. A showcase of culture awaits those who attend the Pintados de Passi Festival, to be held from March 12 to March 20, 2016, highlighted by the Search for Binibining Pintados, the Karosa Parada and Carabao Painting Contest, the Sinadya sa Suba, and the Tribal Dance Competition.
