Dance Unite: A 4-Hour Dance Marathon For A Cause
“DANCE UNITE! ONE UNITED MOVE AND GROOVE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE REBUILDING OF YOLANDA-STRICKEN AREAS on November 22 at the Quirino Grandstand”
Manila, Philippines – Two years after the enormously successful Dance4Life! at Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill, we are back by popular demand with “Dance Unite! One United Move and Groove to Raise Funds for the Rebuilding of Yolanda-Stricken Areas”, on November 22, 2014., 5-9 pm at the Quirino Grandstand.
On November 8, 2013, Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) made landfall in Central Visayas. There was unprecedented devastation in different cities and provinces – and people did not just suffer the loss of their homes and properties especially their loved ones and families. Yet despite their loss, the Filipino spirit has remained strong and our faith and hope remain intact.
The Filipino has refused to stay down, but with the help of others all over the world, has begun not just to build, but build back in new and better ways. This year, Food for the Hungry Philippines and Lifetime Foundation Support Team, Inc. invites everyone to join us in a 4-hour dance marathon for a cause billed as Dance Unite! This fundraising event aims to unite people from all walks of life and ages from all over the region (and hopefully all over the nation) in one venue to celebrate the undefeatable Filipino spirit! For more details, log on to www.danceunite.org.
We are targeting 3,000 participants from call centers, NGO’s, the private sector, students and anyone else who wants to live up to the dance challenge. And the best thing about this event is we are raising funds while we dance our hearts out and have an amazing time. Proceeds will go to different community livelihood, education and empowerment projects and initiatives of Food for the Hungry Philippines and Lifeline Foundation Support Team, Inc., in the Western Visayas affected by Typhoon Yolanda.
HELP rebuild our nation! Help rebuild lives! Join Dance Unite!
