  • Quezon city’s biggest film festival, QCinema, returns to highlight movies that will captivate the hearts of people in and out of the country.

    Now on its 6th year, QCinema 2018 will feature six Circle Competition entries from October 21 to 30, 2018 at Gateway Cineplex 10, Trinoma Mall, Robinsons Movieworld Galleria, Greenbelt 1, UP Town Center, SM City North EDSA, SM Megamall, SM Manila, and SM Mall of Asia.

    Oda Sa Wala by Dwein Baltazar

    Oda follows the story of the old maid Sonya, whose family’s business is embalming the dead. One day she finds herself curious and discovers a corpse that changes her life.

    Billie and Emma by Samantha Lee

    Billie, a teenage rock star, moves to the province and meets Emma, a model and almost the perfect example of a good daughter. Together, they go through the experience of first love.

    DOG DAYS: Pinoy Hoop Dreams by Timmy Harn

    A half-black half- Filipino Michael Jordan wanna-be sets his way towards his “hoop dreams”

    Hintayan Ng Langit by Dan Villegas

    Lisang’s soul is trapped in the purgatory due to her bad behavior. Once again, her name is picked and reconsidered. Will she be able to make it this time?

    Masla A Papanok by Gutierrez Mangansakan II

    Mangansakan’s Masla A Papanok highlights the story of an ancient bird that mysteriously appeared in Maguindanao in 1892.

    Panata sa Bundok Gulsuk

    A naive teenage boy is on his way to mount Gulsuk to search for a cure.

    The entries released are yet to be completed. Famous films screened during QCinema festival were Patay Na Si Jesus, Neomanila, Ang Manananggal sa Unit 32B.
