  • Wear for Peace Showcases Fashion as a Symbol of Hope and Rebuilding
  • Filipino fashion, craftsmanship, and a message of hope came together at Wear for Peace, a special fashion presentation held on August 15, 2026, at Salon de Ning, The Peninsula Manila.

The event showcased 25 original designs inspired by peace, with each piece created using materials repurposed from uniforms worn by soldiers in Marawi. Transforming these materials into fashion gave them a new purpose, with the collection reflecting themes of rebuilding, resilience, and hope.

More than a fashion presentation, Wear for Peace highlighted the communities and families connected to the Marawi initiative. Through thoughtful design and Filipino craftsmanship, the collection demonstrated how fashion can become a medium for telling meaningful stories while extending support to those behind the initiative.

The presentation also formed part of TBWA\SMP’s 25th anniversary, marking the occasion through a project that brought together creativity and social purpose.

Wear for Peace coincided with the launch of Calla’s newest fragrance, co-created with long-time brand ambassador Marian Rivera. Featuring gentle fruity blossoms blended with warm vanilla musk, the fragrance brings a soft and comforting scent to everyday spaces.

The fragrance is now featured in Calla Bliss detergent powder and liquid fabric conditioner, while guests at the event received a limited-edition Calla Linen Spray carrying the same scent.

Through Wear for Peace, fashion took on a deeper meaning—turning materials associated with conflict into pieces that represented creativity, renewal, and the continuing hope for peace.
