MITSUKOSHI BGC, the first Japanese-inspired mall in the Philippines, is excited to bring the traditional art of paper folding and fan decoration to life with an Origami Workshop on July 21 and a Yukata Dressing & Washi Uchiwa Fan Decoration Experience on August 4, 2024!

Origami Workshop
Originating in ancient Japan, origami transforms simple sheets of paper into intricate and beautiful designs, from delicate flowers to majestic paper cranes! This workshop offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in this timeless craft, learn various folding techniques, and create your own origami masterpieces.
Two timeslots are available for this event: one at 11:00 a.m. and another at 3:00 p.m. Interested participants may register by scanning the QR code below.

The workshop will be held on the ground floor of MITSUKOSHI BGC for FREE! As of July 9, only a few slots are left for the first 30 registrants, so go ahead and register now to experience a fun and relaxing day of creativity fit for all ages!
Yukata Dressing & Washi Uchiwa Fan Decoration
For a registration fee of Php 2,000, you can dress in a traditional Yukata and decorate your own Washi Uchiwa fan on August 4, 2024, with the expert guidance of MiyokoLouisse Kimono!

To make the experience even more enjoyable, you can stroll through MITSUKOSHI BGC for two hours in your Yukata for picture taking while shopping and dining, providing a unique cultural immersion and memorable experience just for you.
After the workshops, you may also get to take home your dressing kit and the Washi Uchiwa fan you decorated!
