Manila International Book Fair Returns to SMX Manila This September 9 to 13
The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) returns to SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City from September 9 to 13, 2026, bringing together publishers, authors, educators, students, and book lovers for five days of literary events and book discoveries. This year’s fair carries the theme “Get Lit: Reading in a New Light”.
Running daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., MIBF will once again feature local and international publishers showcasing their latest titles across various genres. Visitors can browse new releases, educational materials, children’s books, fiction, non-fiction, and other publications from participating exhibitors.

The event will also host meet-and-greet sessions with Filipino authors and creators, giving readers the opportunity to interact with their favorite writers and learn more about their works.
In addition, guests can participate in panel discussions, workshops, and exclusive book launches, offering insights into literature, publishing, and the local creative industry throughout the five-day event.
Organized by Primetrade Asia, Inc., the Manila International Book Fair remains one of the country’s longest-running and largest book fairs, bringing together the Philippine literary community under one roof.
