  • Filipina Broadway superstar Lea Salonga is set to perform with Brigham Young University (BYU) Chamber Orchestra on May 30, 2017 at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo in Pasay City.

    In this event, attendees will get the chance to hear Lea singing all of her popular Broadway songs with BYU Chamber Orchestra and under the baton of Professor Kory Katseanes.

    The Chamber Orchestra is the most select of the five orchestras in the BYU School of Music. Comprised
    of 49 musicians, the Chamber Orchestra represents BYU throughout the United States and internationally, making it the most traveled university orchestra in the world.

    Meanwhile, Lea is a Tony Award-winning Broadway star of Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, and Allegiance; celebrity TV coach of The Voice(Philippines); and the singing voice of Disney princesses Jasmine and Mulan.
