Hotel Okura Manila to Host Arita Wagyu Dining Showcase This July for Philippines–Japan Friendship Month

Hotel Okura Manila will host the Arita Wagyu Dining Showcase from July 29 to 31, 2026 at Yawaragi Restaurant in Pasay City as part of the 70th Philippines–Japan Friendship Month celebration.

The exclusive three-day dining event will bring the award-winning Arita Wagyu from Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan to Manila, featuring a specially curated menu prepared by renowned Japanese chefs.

Leading the showcase is Chef Tadashi Sawauchi, Grand Chef of Japanese Fine Dining of Okura Hotels & Resorts, who will collaborate with Chef Keiichiro Fujino, Japanese Executive Chef of Hotel Okura Manila and Yamazato. Together, they will present a refined dining experience that highlights the craftsmanship, quality, and rich flavors of Arita Wagyu, one of Japan’s internationally recognized Wagyu producers.

The Arita Wagyu Dining Showcase will be available at Php 10,000++ per person, while guests may also opt for the Php 12,000++ package with sake pairing for a more elevated dining experience.

Guests can expect a menu designed to showcase the premium beef’s exceptional marbling, tenderness, and depth of flavor through carefully executed Japanese culinary techniques. The event offers a rare opportunity to experience Arita Wagyu prepared by some of the most respected chefs within the Okura Hotels & Resorts group.
