This event was planned for the second consecutive year to give fans in the Philippines—where basketball is loved as a national sport—the opportunity to experience Japan’s B.LEAGUE. Through programs such as viewing parties, clinics, and tournaments, the event aims not only to showcase the excitement of B.LEAGUE basketball, but also to contribute to solving social issues within local communities, in line with the league’s philosophy.

Additionally, this project will be carried out as an officially recognized “Commemorative Event of 2026 Philippines-Japan Friendship Year” (70th Anniversary of Normalization of Diplomatic Relations) by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, in recognition of its contribution to promoting exchange between Japan and the Philippines, enhancing mutual understanding, and strengthening friendly relations between the two countries.

On Day 4, approximately 50 students from local Japanese schools and Filipino children will participate together in the clinic. The year 2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines, making this a meaningful opportunity to promote international exchange through basketball.

    Additional Activities

Guests can also look forward to the B.LEAGUE and sponsor booths, where a variety of attractions and activities will be available throughout the event.

B.LEAGUE will also hold the “Pass It Forward” Jersey Recycling Campaign at its booth to promote the 3Rs: reduce, reuse, and recycle as an effort to protect the environment. Through this initiative, guests are encouraged to donate basketball uniform tops or bottoms that are no longer used, such as those that have become too small, so they may be passed on to a new owner.

Collected uniforms will be donated to underprivileged children in the Philippines who wish to pursue basketball. Donors will also receive a B.LEAGUE original novelty item as a token of appreciation. Please note that badly soiled, torn, or unusable uniforms will not be accepted, while donation recipients and implementation dates will be announced once finalized.

Through these activities, B.LEAGUE FINAL WEEK in MANILA 2026 brings together basketball, community engagement, and meaningful action for fans and young players in the Philippines.
