  • The 35th concert season of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) continues on for the month of February with Romancing the Classics Concert VI conducted by David Gómez Ramirez. Watch the young conductor as he leads the PPO in their performance of Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 and other symphonic classical masterpieces.

    On February 16, 2018, two days after Valentine’s day, guests will be treated to a one of a kind concert at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater).

    Born in Seville (Spain) in 1977, David Gómez Ramirez is one of the most promising young conductors and composers in Spain. During the past seven years, he has conducted all major Spanish orchestras and appeared as guests conductor in Europe. As a composer, he has written a wide range of musical compositions from Chamber music to large orchestral forms.
