  • Engaging in the arts can have a positive effect on your mental health, which is why BGC Arts Center, in partnership with Lundbeck Philippines, Inc., will be hosting a two-day online glass art workshop series with featured artist Fchel Estanislao in celebration of World Mental Health Month.

On October 17, transform your everyday glassware into extraordinary works of art led by Founder and Chief Artist of Glassicology Fchel Estanislao in Best in Glass Workshop.  This is a beginner to advanced skill workshop and everyone is welcome to participate.

Participants need to secure the following art materials for the Best in Glass Workshop: clear glass vessel, enamel paint with your choice of colors, paint brushes, sponge, color-mixing palette, and cleaning materials.

Meanwhile, the Artistic Transfiguration Workshop on October 24 is an online glass to wood art workshop that will showcase stunning wooden glass art pieces with the same artist Fchel Estanislao.

This beginner workshop gives workshop attendees a chance to win a set of one-of-a-kind glass coasters specially designed by Fchel for the BGC Arts Center!

Recommended for ages 7 years old and up, both online glass painting workshop will transpire online via Zoom from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Do take note that adult supervision is needed for children joining the workshops.

Access to the workshops is through donations amounting to Php 500 per person for one workshop and Php 800 per person for both workshops, which will go to support programs that champion the arts in the #YouArtNotAlone community and helps artists affected by the pandemic.
