  • In an effort to raise funds to combat COVID-19 pandemic crisis in the country, Canon Philippines together with PayMaya and various nonprofit organizations presents Canon Digital Master Class Series, an online workshop for a cause.

    Happening on select dates from March 31 to April 28, Canon PH gathers and collaborates with the country’s finest photographers, visual storytellers, and multimedia artists to teach you the best of their expertise at the comfort of your own home.

    From the basics of photography to the various advanced tricks, this online workshop series lets Canon users and enthusiasts build their skills in creativity in different areas of photography and videography with the use of a camera.

    Brand ambassadors, Canon Crusader of Light, and professional shooters who will grace this workshop include Pat Dy, Juo De Guzman, Kim Diaz, Ian Celis, Welsey Villarica, Emir Khan Bautista, and more.

    Some of the workshop topics they will tackle that may pique your interest are creative photography, food photography and styling, budget filmmaking, vlogging, and portraiture to name a few.

    All workshops are scheduled to start at 8 p.m. at Canon Philippines’ official Facebook page.

    Interested individuals can join the online workshop series by donating at donate.paymaya.com or through the PayMaya app’s Pay Bills function. Donations range from Php 50 to Php 1,300.

    Proceeds will go to #OneAgainstCOVID19 partner entities such as Philippine Red Cross, Caritas Manila, UNICEF, PGH Medical Foundation, and Save The Children.
