  • Join the First Manila International Performing Arts Summit
  • Participate in the first Manila International Performing Arts Summit (MIPAS) happening from September 17 to 22, 2019 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Pasay City.

The summit aims to connect the arts and business sectors from the Asia Pacific and the world. It also aims to showcase Performing Arts productions and talents in the country and the Asia Pacific region to not only raise awareness but to also broaden the market.

There are three flagship events that will happen through the course of the summit.

The first event is the Federation of Asian Cultural Promotions (FACP) Conference, which will take place from September 18 to 20. This event puts emphasis on the theme “Generation Next: The Future of the Performing Arts,” where there will be sessions on Markets and Creative Parks, Promotional Strategies and Production, among others.

Meanwhile, the Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres (AAPPAC) conference is happening from September 20 to 22 with the theme “Epicenters of Creativity: Generating Waves, Harnessing Crosscurrents.” This three-day conference includes sessions on Cultural Diplomacy and Arts Philanthropy, among other timely topics.

The first two days of the AAPPAC Conference will happen at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, while the third day will take place at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts.

Lastly, MIPAS also brings the MIPAM x Create PH as one of the summit’s flagship events. MIPAM x Create PH will happen from September 19 to 21, featuring exhibitions, showcases, talks, and business-to-business meetings for performing artists.

More world class talents will be making their way at the Manila International Performing Arts Market x Create PH 2019…
