The band released a short statement via twitter “We’re sorry to announce that our show in Manila at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on August 13th is being canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. We’d like to apologize to all our fans that had purchased tickets and we’ll be posting full ticket refund details here very soon”

Catch the Indie synth-pop band, CHVRCHES for their Love is Dead Asia Tour this August 13, 2019, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. CHVRCHES, known for hits like Miracle, Get Out, and The Mother We Share, returns to Manila with their recently dropped song, Here With Me.

This is the band’s third time in the country since their first solo concert in 2014. They returned to the country for the second time in 2016 for the GoodVybes Fest. For this concert, they’ll be performing hits from their “Love is Dead” album that was released in 2018 such as “Never Say Die,” “Get Out,” and “My Enemy.”

CHVRCHES hails from Scotland and was formed on September 11. The band is composed of Iain Cook, Martin Doherty, and Lauren Mayberry. Their debut studio album, “The Bones of What You Believe” was released in 2013 and debuted on the ninth spot of the UK Albums Chart. It was also included in the top music charts of Australia, the United States, and Canada.
Their debut album paved a path for seven other singles such as “Recover”, “Gun” and, “Under the Tide” among others. The singles charted in Belgium Japan and in the United Kingdom.
