  • With left and right coffee shops opening in the Philippines, it’s no doubt that the country is now one of the most exciting coffee spots in Asia.

This is why Coffee Science Center is holding Manila Coffee Festival (MCF), which is a 3-day lifestyle coffee festival that will take you to a trip of global events like The New York Coffee Festival, The London Coffee Festival and The Amsterdam Coffee Festival. MCF is happening this coming March 2019.

With more than 80 booths in the said event, customers can expect various coffee, farm tourism, allied products and services, product demos, MCF Café Music Lounge, industry job placements, food, and free specialty coffee tasting.

Of course, there’s also something for the art enthusiasts–short films, mini-workshops, merchandising and lots of art, music, and entertainment!

But the highlight of this festival is the Philippine Coffee Championships (PCC), wherein Filipino baristas will compete in the national finals in Manila. The winners will then proceed and represent the country in the World Barista Championships in the USA in Q2 and Germany in Q3 of 2019.

About 2,000 people are expected to visit the booths per day, so mark your calendars for all the coffee and art enthusiasts out there–the Manila Coffee Festival is surely one of the events you shouldn’t miss!
