  • Jumpstart Your Freelance Writing Career
  • In whichever industry you may find your feet on, you may have noticed that freelancing, or the act of working for various companies, had infiltrated the corporate world one at a time. Freelance writing, for that matter, has also become a rampant choice for those who want to bring themselves further into the doors of unending careers.

Although this is the case, freelance writing is not just a job for those who want a quick way out; after all, writing is a ‘thinking man’s job.’

In light of this, Writers Block Philippines (WBP) in partnership with Fully Booked BGC will conduct a freelance writing seminar on Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event features freelance writers, Ana P. Santos and Nikka Sarthou-Lainez, pioneers of WBP, who are successfully working on their chosen fields of endeavor.

“When we started, we wanted a place where writers could improve their craft, get started on getting published and learn the ins and outs of freelancing. The most logical way for us to do that was by organizing workshops,” said Santos, a journo who focuses on women and gender issues.
