Hailing from El Paso, Texas, Khalid has been making waves in the industry since the release of his infectious single Location in 2016. Since then, he had received five Grammy nominations, an award for MTV Music Awards’ Best New Artist and Billboard Music Awards’ Top New Artist.
Two years later, the 20-year-old singer and songwriter are garnering praises from all over the world for his newest debut album called American Teen. His coming-of-age tales of growing up told through songs became an ultimate 21st-century pop anthem in the Philippines. Young, Dumb & Broke peaked at #2 on the Philippines Spotify charts.
Having embarked on an expansive world tour and making stops at major festivals like Coachella, Splendour in the Grass and Lollapalooza, Khalid is set to explode onto the Asian stage with his first headline tour of the region.
