Bach to Jukebox with The Philippine Madrigal Singers’ Alumnus
The multi-awarded Philippine Madrigal Singers, also known as the MADZ, will serenade us on August 16, 2018, as the Ayala Museum presents Bach To Jukebox featuring Jonathan de la Paz Zaens, and Michelle Nicolasora.
In June 1997, the Philippine Madrigal Singers won the grand prize during the European Choral Grand Prix in Choral Singing in Tours, France, beating five other grand prize winners of the most prestigious choral competition in Europe: Guido D’Arezzo, Italy; Debrecen, Hungary; Varna, Bulgaria; Gorizia, Italy; and Tolosa, Spain. The Philippine Madrigal Singers was able to display a moving performance that one juror described the group’s music as the “most beautiful sound on earth.”

One of Philippine Madrigal Singers’ greatest bass-baritone alumnus, Jonathan de la Paz Zaens will serenade attendees in a once in a lifetime concert.
