Creative Writing Classes for Adults This September and November 2018!
Unleash the inner writer in you and explore the creative world of writing at Write Things’ Creative Writing Classes for Adults this coming September 22, and November 17, 2018!
The three-hour sessions are meant to inspire and empower the participants to nurture their own writing lives or simply be more fluent and effective communicators on paper, drawing from the guest author’s own writing journey and sample written pieces. Participants who dream of writing a book or script will be able to complete a work in progress or begin their very own manuscript through the exercises that will be provided and critics who will help improve their works.
Lectures regarding the class topic will be conducted by respected writing mentors and authors whom participants can get inspiration and advice regarding their own works. For fiction writers who want to further develop their writing styles can learn from their Fiction Writing Class happening on September 22, 2018!
Writing mentor Mr. Sarge Lacuesta, an award-winning short story writer will be mentoring the Fiction Writing Class. He is also a published author and has just launched two books: Coral Cove, a collection of short stories and A Waiting Room Companion, a collection of his nonfiction writing.
For those in the corporate world, grab the opportunity and take your writers to their Writing Skills in the Workplace workshop happening on November 17, 2018. Both classes will be held at the Forum (4th Floor), of Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street from 1:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m. Class fee is Php 2,000 per session.
As writing doesn’t have to stop at a certain age, senior citizens are welcome to enroll and the fee is at Php 1,429. Payments can be deposited at their BPI Account: ELFRENENI HOLDINGS INC, account No. 3071-0712-69. Deposit slips should be emailed to writethingsph@gmail.com with the name of the participant and the BPI branch they deposited.
Things to bring: writing materials and a light snack will be provided but you may bring your writing material of choice (fully charged laptop or tablet or notebook/writing pad, pen); snacks, drinks and shawl/jacket.
