Swing Latino Baila en Manila: A Colombian Dance Workshop
In partnership with Philippines’ premier salsa dance group Salsa Manila, Joy~Nostalg Hotel & Suites brings Colombian salsa team, Swing Latino to Manila.
Meet, greet, and learn from the World of Dance finalist as they will be having a dance workshop titled “Swing Latino Baila En Manila” on July 17 at the Joy Ballroom of Joy~Nostalg Hotel & Suites in Ortigas.

Swing Latino
The dance class is open to everyone who wants to learn from Colombian salsa team. Schedule and rates are as follows:
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.– Beginners / Intermediate Level (Php 1,500.00 nett / person)
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Advanced Level (Php 2,500.00 nett / person)
After the dance workshop, you may catch Salsa Latino’s dance performance at 8 p.m. at the Nostalgia Lounge & Bar for just Php 500, inclusive of one drink.
Founded in the late 1990s, Swing Latino is a salsa dance academy from Cali, Colombia, directed by dancer and choreographer Luis Eduardo Hernandez. The group has won multiple dance contests hosted by their home country and the United States. They have also competed as one of the finalists of the first season of the 2017 American reality program, World of Dance.
The Swing Latino Baila En Manila workshop is also part of their Asian tour that includes Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan in the roster. This tour is also part of the Promotion Plan of Colombia Abroad, a cultural diplomacy initiative by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia aiming to promote knowledge of Colombia’s cultural expressions internationally, in the fields of dance, music, art, theatre, cinema, academia, literature, and gastronomy.
