Bb. Marathoner Sets to Empower All Females This 2018
Are you ready to break the gravest impression that women are only spectacles to be gazed upon? Are you a female warrior, battling issues of gender inequality in and out of your workplace, objectification on the streets as reflected in films, and female underrepresentation in political undertakings? Or perhaps you are a woman, ready to be pushed to your limits to run in the most empowering race in your lifetime, designed to motivate the country’s nation builders—women.
If you are, then get ready as Swift and Fit, together with BBG RUN Events, promises an exhilarating course for an all-female and female-at-heart ensemble in the Binibining Marathoner 2018, happening at the CDC Parade Ground in Clark Field, Pampanga on August 19.
Runners registered for the 10K race will get to have their race kit inclusive of a razorback singlet, a race bib, a bubbly tutu, a finisher’s medal, and a certificate, all for Php 1,000. 21K and 42K finishers will receive a shirt to go with their race kits for Php 1,700 and Php 2,100 respectively. Every race finisher also gets to flaunt their success on a red carpet situated at the finish line, with each finisher being crowned as a Binibining Marathoner 2018.
The three top finishers for all distances will be given the “Women by Birth” award, along with recognizing the top finisher for each age group from the 21K and 42K runs, while the “Women at Heart” award will be given to the top finishers from each of the distances. Finally, the participant with the Best Costume gets to go home a winner, as well as chosen brand winners for this year’s one of a kind marathon.
