  • Taking you to a deeper connection to the existing environment that we have, Ayala Museum invites you to hear the Joey Ayala Series as a part of Ayala Museum’s year-round Music at the Museum concerts. On June 7, July 5 and September 13, reconnect with nature with the Philippines’ artist at Ayala Museum, Makati from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. It is the time to rediscover indigeneity of music and the greater meaning of everything that surrounds us.

Joey Ayala, a Philippine music icon and a former chairman of National Committee on Music, developed his music just by listening and mimicking the songs or oido which lead him to be a singer-songwriter. Know for his neofolk and contemporary genre, he uses various ethnic instruments to fit in his arrangements like gongs, the kulintang, and bamboo instruments. Joey Ayala series would remind you of his affection for the environment and the people in it.

For more updates, visit the Ayala Museum website. For inquiries on the event, email concerts@ayalamuseum.org or call 02-759-8288 loc 8272.
