Philippine Ballet Theatre presents its second performance this season with The Merry Widow on September 30-October 1, 2017 at Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Performing together with the company is a guest artist from The Berlin Staatsopera, Mr. Martin Buczko.
Martin Buczko finished his studies at the Hungarian National Dance Academy. As a dancer, Buczko performed all main leading roles with Staatsballett Berlin, Ballet de Santiago, and Ballett Rossa. He also founded Ensemble Terrible in 2013.

The Merry Widow is a story of forbidden and rekindled love, wealth, power, and deceit. The story is set in Paris, the city of love, in about 1900 where illicit affairs and a free-wheeling lifestyle was the most taboo.
