Ballet Philippines presents: A Gala Celebration
Ballet Philippines starts off their 48th Season, named Quintessence, with a bang by bringing in Filipino stars from various international dance companies in A Gala Celebration, happening at the CCP Main Theater from August 18-20.

Making their way back to the Philippines are Candice Adea (formerly of BalletMet and Hong Kong Ballet), Jean Marc Cordero (Ballett Kiel), Marcelino Libao (Hamburg Ballet), and Paul Ocampo and Chien-Yin Wang (OcampoWang Dance).

The production also marks the return of Alice Reyes, National Artist for Dance, as Ballet Philippines’ Artistic Director.

Some of the works to be featured in A Gala Celebration include Agnes Locsin’s Salome, Bam Damian’s Minamahal, Sinasamba, Edna Vida’s Vision of Fire, Norman Walker’s Summer’s End, and an excerpt from a ballet classic, Raymonda.
