  • Duo Harmonique is set to perform their last concert on May 31 at the Alliance Française de Manille Multi-Purpose Hall at 7:30 p.m.

    “We are happy to announce our last concert in Manila on May 31, Wednesday in Alliance française de Manille, Nicanor Garcia St., Makati. Hope you can make it and see us perform. We are leaving for Europe in June and this is our last chance to share our music with you,” Duo Harmonique announced on Tuesday, May 17.

    Featuring timeless classics by: JS Bach, Roland Dyens, Ennio Moriconne, and more!

    Ticket price is Php 500. Discount for senior citizens and persons with disability shall be applied only for purchases done at the AFM reception as we will be asking for a photo ID for verification purposes.

    About Duo Harmonique

    Fil-French Duo Harmonique is composed of the couple, Margarita and Thibault Momper. Margarita was one of the founders of Triple Fret guitar ensemble. She started playing guitar at the age of 15. She enrolled in the UP extension program in third year high school under Barney Fojas. She continued with classical guitar and graduated from DCPMA-BM Music Education in the UP College of Music. She was given the opportunity to travel and play with the UP Guitar Orchestra as well as participate in guitar festivals abroad and in the Philippines. She has also written a guitar method book entitled “String Theory”, a sight-reading learning method for children.

    Thibault started playing guitar at the age of 7 and completed his degrees in Classical guitar, Music Theory, Music History and Chamber Music (the latter at the age of 13), at the Music Conservatory of Nancy (C.N.R. de Nancy). He then perfected his classical guitar studies at the prestigious post-graduate Music Conservatory of Paris (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. His teaching career began right after, first of all at the Nancy Conservatory, where he served three years as a guitar teacher, and secondly at the Music Conservatory of Luxembourg, where he works as a classical guitar professor. Parallel to that, he is holding guitar classes at the European School in Luxembourg.
