Tony Award®-winning musical NEWSIES is heading to Manila on July 7-20 2017, at the Globe Iconic Store, Bonifacio High Street in Taguig.
Newsies is a rousing tale of Jack Kelley, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenage “newsies” who aims for a better life away from the hardship at the street, and fought against publishing titans, Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph. The musical addresses social injustice, exploitative labor practices, and merely shows the struggles of the young to go against corrupt establishment.
