Witness a night of grand spectacle as the Cultural Center of the Philippines and Ballet Philippines presents one of the greatest ballets of all time, “Swan Lake”.
The story revolves around the theme of love and forgiveness that transcends time and borders. It was composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tsia chovsky in 1875 to 1876, and is fashioned from a Russian folklore.
Though the story has various interpretation from romantic to tragic , most ballet companies base their stagings both choreographically and musically.
The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing on the gala performances. Catch the performances at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater) on February 24-26, and on March 3-5, 2017.
