The Metropolitan Museum of Manila (MET) and the Independent Curators International (ICI) presents Curatorial Intensive Symposia, a series of art talks that gathers esteemed curators and art professionals working with institutions in emerging and established art centers around the world, on November 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

This event caps off the Independent Curator’s International (ICI) weeklong intensive here in Manila, wherein 12 selected curaors will go through a rigorous and highly-constructive line-up of seminars, presentations, site visits, and one-on-one meetings to develop new skills and perspectives on various aspects of curating, as well as to increase dialogue in curatorial ideas.

Headlining the symposia is “Networks and Collaboration on an International Context”, a conversation between Renaud Proch (Executive Director, ICI) and Joselina Cruz (Director & Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art and Design of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Manila). This will be followed by 60-minute lectures by Cosmin Costinas (Executie Director, Para/Site Art Space, Hong Kong) and Maria Lind (Director, Tensta Konsthall, Stolkholm. A 15-minute Q&A period has been allotted after each talk.
